Our Darwen Based Showroom

After you have selected which range best suits your individual space, a designer will visit your home to measure the area and create a detailed floor plan layout, incorporating any unusual features, such as dormer windows or a sloping roof. This is an important part of the project as all 1st Choice furniture is tailor made to suit each customers' living space.

You can also design your own furniture -  because we manufacture each piece individually from our workshop, it gives us the freedom to offer this service - feel free to discuss this with your 1st Choice designer who will be able to advise you and endeavour to adapt your ideas to suit our production methods.

You will then be able to choose doors, handles and other features to best suit the space and design, before you receive a full costing for the project. This will be honoured for a period of three months. We don't use high pressure sales techniques at 1st Choice, as we believe that our potential customers will contact us if they wish to continue with their purchase, so you can rest assured that you won't be harrassed by telephone calls or feel obliged to buy.

The next stage of production includes a detailed quotation of your design and a 3D representation of the proposed project so that you can envisage how it will appear from every angle and ascertain whether any changes have to be made, as it's important to us that you are satisfied with every aspect of your new living area.

If any changes do have to be made, you'll be invited to our showroom to make your final selections and confirm the proposed plan, before we arrange your fitting date. This is usually within 21 days of your order and fitted over a period of 48 hours. Our craftsmen are courteous and polite, but above all experienced, and will ensure that when completed, you are more than happy with the finished project.
